this is Wilfred. I would like to share my small experience with the world and warn them about conmen that scam new naive freelance users (that are looking for work at freelance online jobs) by getting new freelancers and use them without paying them.
www.freelance.com is a freelance website that enables unemployed people bid for jobs or projects that have been advertised by clients. So, what I did was that I placed 8 bids on different projects on that day. A few hours later, I checked my email address and found that in one of the online jobs I applied for (which was the conversion of pdf documents to excel documents); the client (bidder) sent me an email saying that he has a small job for me.
It was very interesting that he wanted me to do his Private Job from 9am to 5pm and even gave me my username and password without consulting me.
He wanted me to log in into his private website and said that my work is to read the numbers that were in the captcha images, type it in the text box and submit. You can only submit one result after every 30 seconds. My mind told me to check whether this was related to the project he posted at the freelance website.

Warning to the New or Gullible or Naive Freelancers who can be Tempted by Freelance Online Jobs or online writing job scams that offer minimum pay and the pay is not a guarantee.
Those that have registered for online jobs and have bid several jobs from various clients, if one or more of those clients send you an email suggesting that he or she wants you to do as small or private job such as Captcha Jobs, please refuse because it’s an freelance online jobs scam.
